We have used Eclipes as development environment. The quality by which the platform supports the workflow of the developer was always  a (naturally unrivaled) model for our product.

Helpsetmaker

A small and obviously  sparsely known tool is the Helpsetmaker of the cantamen GmbH. It  helped us magnificently to develop Hepset and its documentation.

Launch4j and NSIS (Windows-version)

With the two free tools in combination we are able to offer the technically unexperienced user with Windows a totally quick installation and start performance according to the general standard.
